While stationed in Monterey for 18 months while attending the Naval Post Graduate School I was very lucky to have stayed at Lake Royal apartments. Having moved here from the East Coast everything was so new. The management made me feel welcome right from the very beginning starting with a welcome basket filled with goodies. The apartment had been freshly renovated with lots of cool features, especially the modern lighting with dimmers. It felt like I was moving into a new place. The best part was the location being able to walk to school, downtown, the wharf and the beach.
