i grew up down the street from this gentleman(dennison's cyclery) when any child wanted to either learn, fix, or just stay out of trouble, this mentor was there. this store is in between montebello and East,L,A, if you had a flat and no money, he'd fix and tell you to just do the same to someone else. he even invited all children from all the neighborhoods to go on bike run's that he sponsored every year so we can see there was more to life than getting in trouble. he would even sell used bike's and if you did'nt have enough then you'd have to help out just so you can learn
