Chavell Horsemanship is an elite horsemanship training program offered at Up and Over Farm, Albemarle County's premier horse stable. Located in Covesville, Virginia, the barn is twenty minutes from UVA and thirty minutes from Keswick, Virginia. We coach riders at all levels, from beginning riding lessons to AA-circuit competitions. Chavell Horsemanship develops riding programs in the dressage and hunter jumper discipline to suit each individual's needs. We offer many other disciplines, such as dressage, eventing, combined test, pleasure, equitation, jumper, and more. Adrienne C. Brown, an accomplished hunter and jumper rider, assist in managing the operation with the assistance of a highly trained staff. The barn offers both riding lessons and a full-care training program that includes grooming and complete horse care, along with many other programs and options.
