I think of myself as a storyteller first and foremost, capturing the feel and emotion of the day in a candid, unposed style. While I include some posed formals, it's in the candid moments and unplanned images that the real story of the day is best told. My photography has something of a warm, timeless look which imparts a romantic, almost nostalgic feel. And what an emotional difference it makes when looking at the finished product! I work very hard to make sure my photos have a look all their own, which I admit isn't for everyone. I strive for striking photos that capture real emotion, not just document the day. Wedding photography is so much more than a set of snapshots that document who was present and what they did. A couple's wedding day is a romantic, emotional time. It's exciting and scary and blissful, a real emotional roller coaster throughout the day, and to just grab a set of images simply doesn't convey the whole story. That's why I take the extra time with every photo to make sure they convey the essence of your day.
