Join us on a guided walking tour of local, artisan food.  Learn about Madison’s culture, history and architecture as you sample delicious, fresh food from a variety of restaurants. Our main purpose is to create a comfortable, entertaining atmosphere for you to explore Madison and the local, fresh food we have to offer. We have regularly scheduled tours as well as customized tours for your group.   Our job is to make life easy for you to entertain clients and friends from out of town or enjoy an afternoon yourself learning more about Wisconsin’s capital city.  The tour offers more than just food.   We explore history, current culture, architecture and the story behind the food.   Madison’s food scene is influenced by many cultures. Add this mix of flavors with ingredients sourced from our local farms, and you get the perfect recipe for mouth-watering culinary delights. Madison Food Explorers is a team of teachers, historians, event planners, restaurant staff and adventurous explorers. We love to show visitors and locals, our classic gems, like the scenic views from Monona Terrace and the State Capital as well as hidden restaurants.   Our tour guides are excited to tell you the stores behind the restaurants, brew pubs and capitol doors.
