Our renovated 36 x 100 Elegant Barn is ready for your event or wedding. Barn weddings can be dressed up or dressed down to match the style and décor of your wedding. We allow the flexibility so you can “make it your own!” The hardwood floor was hand-crafted from seven hardwoods grown on our farm. Create the table layout how you like and there will be plenty of room for dancing and fun. Our Elegant Barn is a permanent wedding venue including heated and cooled indoor bathrooms with showers. Justin Trails Resort near Sparta Wisconsin is a short two hour drive from Madison, WI; Dubuque, IA; and Red Wing, MN and three hours from Milwaukee, the Quad Cities and Minneapolis. Our quiet valley is perfect for the outdoor adventurer looking for a pet-friendly, family-friendly resort or a romantic getaway. Our land includes two hundred organic acres with 150 acres of woodland through which the ski and snowshoe trails wind. A quiet cruise through the woods will reveal turkey, deer, hawks and raccoon tracks. Keep your eyes peeled and you may spy fox den and squirrel nests. There are three conservation ponds for animals to get water. Listen to the wind in the treetops; hear the hoot of an owl, rustling of a leaf rolling across the snow. Our pet-friendly environment is great for the day or an overnight getaway. No weight limit or deposit required and pets are welcome to stay with you in any of our accommodations. Pets love our 200 acre private valley where they can run and fetch off-leash. There is plenty of room for privacy in separate cabins, watching the sunset from your own deck or porch and long walks to The Pond and The Rock. It may seem an oxymoron that romantic couples and families have fun at the same resort. There is plenty of room for young and young at heart. The resort is home to beautiful log cabins and suites that cater to your bed & breakfast experience with large two person whirlpool bathtubs, gas fireplaces, queen or king beds, DIRECTV, DVD players and comfy robes. We serve a four-course breakfast from 7:30 to 10:00 in the Lodge or delivered to your suite or cabin. The breakfast menu consists of Justin Trails Resort hand-made granola, yogurt, fresh fruit or fruit compote, Donna’s muffins, an entree choice of scrambled eggs, pancakes or French toast with crispy bacon on the side. Most diets are easily accommodated. Our buildings and furnishings were hand-made by area craftsmen. Suites and cabins are decorated with handmade quilts, rugs made with wool from our llamas Dusty & Rusty, original Swedish paintings by Sandy Russell and photos of the area. Suites and log cabins include dishes, glasses, mugs, silverware, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, coffee, apple cider, hot chocolate and more. Bring your binoculars or telescope.
