Classic Concrete Raising provides mud-jacking, and pressure grouting services . This process lifts and stabilizes sunken and/or void concrete slabs. It also evicts unwanted critters that have made their homes beneath hollowed out slabs. Mud-jacking is a cost effective way to lift sinking concrete by drilling 2-inch core holes through the top of the slab and, under high pressure, pumping a mud-jack grout mixture, which includes a structural fill, sand and cement, through the core holes, filling the void beneath it and floating the slab back up. Mud-jacking can fill the void and with continued pumping at high psi it will then lift the slab back up. If there is only a void beneath the concrete but it hasn't sunk yet (and it will) we suggest you power (pressure) grout the slab, which is the same process of mud-jacking without pumping unit it lifts up, thereby stabilizing the slab and preserving it from falling and eventually breaking up the slab to a point that the only option is to go through the expense and mess of replacement.
