Dr. Joseph Kuhn has been recognized as a Top Surgeon in America since 2006, a Top doctor in Texas since 2004, and a Top doctor in Dallas since 2004. He has also been awarded a Most Compassionate Doctor award since 2010. He has received several awards for Teaching and is a Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center. He is active in numerous bariatric and oncologic research studies and has published over 100 papers. He is active in leadership as a Past-President of several surgical organizations and a current Governor for the American College of Surgeons.
