For 27 years, Co-Directors Beth and Jean Logrea have provided pre-professional and recreational students with a strong technical foundation in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Contemporary in a supportive, professional atmosphere. The Co-Directors' extensive performing careers, co-directorship of the Westchester Ballet Company, and Full Professional Teaching Staff provide the basis for the reputation of excellence that Logrea Dance Academy enjoys. The Logrea Dance Academy provides award-winning dance training in the area of Westchester County New York – Ossining, Cortlandt, Chappaqua, Tarrytown, Peekskill, Katonah, Bedford, Croton, Yorktown – with a strong technical foundation in a supportive professional atmosphere. While not all students may have professional aspirations, they will develop poise and confidence, as well as a lifelong appreciation of the performing arts – dance, music and theater. The focus and maturity developed during dance classes and rehearsal are qualities that extend to other areas of life, including improved study habits and agility in games and sports. Full-scale dance productions provide a venue to display students talents and skills, and an opportunity for them to see and understand all facets of professional stage production.
