A wonderful Conservative synagogue in Long Beach [www.TBSLB.org] with a very welcoming feel and a wonderful Rabbi Dov Gartenberg. Temple Beth Shalom has an energetic young Education Director who is shepherding the Torah (Hebrew) School through a rapid growth phase. Temple Beth Shalom has been in Long Beach for more than 60 years and is located close to the freeway, just north of the 405 between Atlantic & Long Beach Boulevards. The Temple is very welcoming of visitors who want to come by and experience a service or one of its many functions.
