I stayed at Foxdale House for 3 days last April 2012. The Inn overlooks a 15 acre wildlife preserve that was steaming with wild ducks and geese. Beautiful. The Inn is decorated with Antiques and is part of a horse farm. Hiking trails, they reason I stayed there for bird watching, were everywhere through Pachaug Forest. The Inn property abutts Pachaug State Forest. I had brought my mtn. bike & road for 3 days, moving easily into the Rhode Island Mgmt. State Forest trails. A great getaway.
