as a previous customer, this was not my experience at all. subcontractors were used like you say, but Jon was always in communication. my wife and i remain happy with the final result and we felt the pricing was fair. we did have one minor issue with one specific material we were quoted for not being available but it was resolved and substituted so i have no complaints in the end.
