About

After graduating from Wartburg College in 1991, Mark began working in the financial services industry with his father, Michael Guilliatt.  Mark quickly became interested in learning everything he could about the financial world. This interest inspired him to complete the Certified Financial Planner TM program in 1994.  At that time Mark became one of the youngest to do so in the nation. He didn't stop there.  Besides completing the necessary licensing in insurance and securities, he continued studying various financial training programs.  Ultimately, he completed a Masters Program in Financial Services. This focus on education has helped him discover some of the best ways to help his clients obtain the Medicaid benefits for which they are eligible. In an attempt to provide the public with a valuable resource, he has founded Nebraska Medicaid Planning, a website designed to help clients navigate the complexity of the Medicaid process. Along with Mark's planning duties at Nebraska Medicaid Planning, he teaches at Midland University where he helps prepare his students to be effective financial citizens. Mark understands the importance of sharing the insights that 20 years of financial services experience have provided.
