Our regular Mexican spot was closed for remodeling so we decided to try Nuevo Vallarta restaurant attached to the HoJo. The food is pretty good and came out really quick, the chips and salsa is great, the service however, not so good. I was not looked at once by the server, he merely glanced in my direction when I ordered (it made me feel kind of uncomfortable, especially considering the extra attention he paid to my male dining partner.) He was slow to take the order, too. The decor inside has the feel of a roadside firecracker stand, if you like that sort of thing... All
