From the moment I walked into the strangeness of a church, I felt welcomed. The first sounds of the worship team was lively and modern, not at all what I was thinking to hear in a church. The smiling faces of those around me told me that I wasn't being judged. And the message from the minister felt like it was directed right at me. There was no pressure for me to come back or for me to open up, but I knew I would be back.
