JW Firearms strives to deliver the best customer service, selection, and price of any other firearms store in Jefferson County, St. Louis and the surrounding areas. We are a retail location with over 400 new and used firearms on display. We work with numerous wholesalers and have the ability to order most any type of firearm you are looking for. We are tied directly into the warehouse for most of our suppliers and once we place an order, your item is at our shop typically in 3 to 5 days. JW Firearms stocks scopes, ammo, cleaning supplies, gun cases for long guns and handguns, AR/AK/SKS accessories, targets, safes, and tactical items along with many other items to fit your needs. If you don't find the item you want at JW Firearms, let us know and we can check availability from our many suppliers. The owner of JW Firearms, Jeff Wooldridge, has been a Federal Firearms Licensee dealer for over 30 years. His 40 plus years as a hunting and shooting enthusiast contributes to his ability to assist his customers with questions, concerns, and/or assistance with the type of firearm best suited for their needs. Events Calendar Services GUNSMITHING JW can build your AR platform rifle from parts to a complete rifle. You can either purchase your parts and accessories from JW Firearms or bring the parts you have. JW can also repair minor issues with other types of firearms, both long guns and handguns. Some of the services offered include drilling and tapping, scope mounting and boresighting, minor trigger work, cleaning, and other smaller type gunsmithing services. Give JW a call or stop by the store with your problem. NOTE: If you are ordering a NEW firearm on-line that requires a FFL transfer, JW Firearms will search our database of wholesalers to see if we can meet or beat your on-line order cost. Your cost includes the price of the firearm, shipping charges, and your FFL transfer fees. If JW Firearms is able to meet or beat your final price and you choose not to order from us, additional charges will apply to your FFL Transfer fees. If JW Firearms is able to meet or beat your final price and you choose to let us order your new firearm for you, there is no transfer fee. FFL TRANSFERS For a nominal fee of $25.00 for used firearms and $35.00 for new firearms, JW Firearms will process your FFL Transfers for you. We do have a short form at the store that we require completed prior to receiving your firearm. The information on this form ensures all necessary information is gathered for JW Firearms to be able to receive your firearm with no issues. If further information has to be gathered or extra steps involved, there could be additional charges that may apply. TRAINING Our Concealed Carry Classes are very informative about safe gun handling, proper shooting techniques, and yet the classroom is very informal and FUN!
