In July and Nov. 2013, this slaughterhouse was cited by the USDA for egregious inhumane handling violations. They allowed downed hogs to be trampled by groups of hogs, then leaving the downed hogs in their pens. This is horrible and illegal. Their multiple citations shows a disregard for the animals' welfare and the law.
