"My name is Dennis Kraklio and I am the owner and founder of Hot D Papa’s and Big Dog’s Hot Dogs. Truck driver by trade, I always thought while driving through Chicago that running a food cart looked like fun! An accident put me in retirement from trucking and that’s when I decided to give the food stand a try. That was seven years ago! Today, it has grown into two carts, a concession trailer and a carry-out restaurant. I would not be where I am today without my loyal customers and supportive family. You can find me at the Figge Art Museum and the Scott County Courthouse Monday through Friday; at the Freight House farmers market on Saturdays and at Kilkenny’s Friday and Saturday nights.
