Education Doctor of Veterinary Medicine – University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine 2007 Bachelor of Arts in Geology – Macalester College 1993 Professional Associations American Veterinary Medical Association Oregon Veterinary Medical Association Rogue Valley Veterinary Medical Association Veterinary Information Network Professional interests include internal medicine, geriatrics, oncology, radiology and MRI, canine rehabilitation (physical therapy/hydrotherapy/massage), hospice and end-of-life care. Community involvement is important to me. Since October 2011 I have served as an Advisory Board member at Sanctuary One, a care farm in the Applegate Valley. I also serve as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Rogue Valley Veterinary Medical Association (RVVMA). I dedicate personal time to local rabies vaccination clinics and feral cat spay/neuter clinics. I have also made several presentations on veterinary topics to elementary school children, senior citizens and community organizations. I share my life with Nelson and Gabby, two beloved, aged retriever mixes, and friends and family. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, kayaking and travel.
