TICA, Inc. is a family owned business that has been providing residential and commercial heating and cooling services since 1967. Since then we've become not only the largest volume heating and air conditioning contractor in Decatur, but also Trane Company's largest dealer in their five state Central region. Through our competitive pricing, good service, quality workmanship, and reliability, TICA, Inc. has become a company of 35 employees. The key to our high level of customer satisfaction is our professionally trained employees. Our family owned and operated business has seven service technicians available for 24-hour emergency service. On September 12, 1957, Ron Wilson began working his  career at Decatur Builders Supply Co. in their heating and air conditioning division. The company decided to close that division after ten years and this provided Mr. Wilson with an opportunity. He decided to purchase it and start a new heating and air conditioning company, TICA, Inc. In March of 2011, TICA, Inc. was recognized by Trane Residential Systems with the “Top Sales Award” for the year 2010. The award was presented to TICA as the number one Trane dealer in the Heartland Dealer Sales Office Territory. This territory covered most of Illinois, Missouri and parts of Iowa. In 2010, TICA was the leader in the Illinois Act on Energy rebate program.
