Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself. I was born and raised right here in Lincoln. I was brought up with the idea of doing a good job, for a fair price. My passion has been computers and technology since I was in 6th grade. I can still remember ordering my first computer programming book from a flyer handed out at school. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the (at the time) new Apple II, and start incorporating all the things I learned in that book. I was so proud of the computer generated drawing I had programmed of E.T. (Again, new at the time). Guess I'm aging myself a bit, but anyway, I was hooked. I took summer school specifically for the purpose of taking a computer class. A couple years later, I was teaching LOGO to elementary students at summer school. Since that time, I have expanded my knowledge, gained some certifications, and worked with computers for a living for over 10 years. Now, my main source of income is networking, however, I still love to work on computers. I'm often asked what the difference between networking and working with computers is. The way I like to describe it is, a computer is like a telephone, and networking is like working for the phone company. I work on all the ways to connect the computers together. The grand scale of that is what everyone knows as the internet. Aristotle once said, "Where your talents and the needs of the world cross; there lies your vocation". There are dozens of computer repair shops in the area, some very good, some not so good.&nb
