Welcome to Ray's Lawn & Home Care! Ray's Lawn & Home Care was founded in 1966 by Ray Svoboda, a long-time employee of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ray decided to turn his love for the outdoors and his sons into a side business that provided lawn care services for a little extra side money. Four years later, this side business that he and his sons had started became a full-time venture for Ray and his wife. During the very long winters of the 1970’s, Ray also added some handyman services like tearing down storm windows and painting into the mix. Though the home care side of the business is no longer existent, the name Ray's still stands strong as your lawn and landscape source. Ray's Lawn and Home Care works hard to maintain the reputation they have built, which resulted them becoming one of the oldest and most established lawn care businesses in the area. Today the company is owned by Ray’s oldest and youngest sons, Ken and Larry. They work hard to still apply what their dad taught them about the tricks of the trade and to always keep his mottos, “Rays’ way or no way!” and “It’s about customer service, not making money” in mind.
