Dr. Rachelle Shaw has been providing gentle, compassionate pediatric dentistry to New Mexico children since 1982. Her office is designed specifically for children, from the child-sized seats to the magical Tooth Fairy visit at the end of every appointment. Dr. Shaw and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend children visit the dentist by their first birthday and twice a year thereafter. At one year, this first visit can be pleasant, uneventful, and educational. Parents are welcome in the operatory during the childs first visit and all subsequent checkups. As a mom, Dr. Shaw knows that every child deserves a beautiful smile! We provide a full range of pediatric dentistry, including preventive care, nutritional education for healthy teeth, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, tooth-colored cosmetic fillings, and early interceptive orthodontics all in a fun and friendly environment. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00. Dr. Shaw is a pedodontist (pediatric dentist), meaning she specializes in childrens dentistry, which spans from the childs first tooth to graduation from high school.
