The 1,267-foot-high rock monolith of Devils Tower, America's First National Monument, soars over this campground along the Belle Fourche River in Wyoming's pine-draped Black Hills. Every campsite offers a great view of the chimney-shape pinnacle; KOA is located at the entrance to the monument. In case you've forgotten that the Tower starred in the sci-fi classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind, refresh your memory at nightly showings of the film right at the campground.
