Mary Anne Smiley, recognized by her peers as one of the top designers in Dallas, was born in Seminole, Oklahoma and is an honor graduate of Interior Design at Oklahoma State University with a minor in Fine Art. Mary Anne’s love of all things creative and artistic began as a child and included primitive architectural drawings. Mary Anne is known for her bright spots of pure color, supported by soft pearl finish backgrounds, and cutting edge art most often from local galleries. One of the first designers registered in the State of Texas after passing the NCIDQ exam, Mary Anne is a professional member of ASID and is qualified in AutoCAD, which has allowed her to design her own furnishings and products when unique and creative solutions are required, resulting in recognition for product design. She has been published in a myriad of publications, and is the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in design, including being on the Best Designers in Dallas list for the past 12 years.
