Pacific Veterinary Hospital in Portland, OR is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. Pacific Veterinary Hospital has been serving the SW Portland community since 1960. A lot has changed in 50 years. Originally, Pacific Veterinary Hospital’s patients consisted of large and small animals. As the community grew becoming more urban, the hospital changed its focus to meet the needs of the growing community and became a strictly small animal hospital. Currently, we care primarily for dogs, cats, and the occasional rat or guinea pig. In July of 2001 Drs. Frost and Grossen purchased the practice. Since their purchase of the hospital Dr Frost, Dr. Grossen, their associates, and staff have work tirelessly to provide compassionate quality medical care for their patients on behalf of the people who love them.
