Dr. Halland Chen is New York’s premier pain management and anti-aging specialist. While most of his career has been dedicated to addressing sports injuries and chronic conditions, his multidisciplinary approach and focus on regenerative medicine led him to develop a practice in advanced cosmetic treatments as well. He is a recognized and trusted expert in non-surgical knee, hip, shoulder, neck and low back pain recovery with a much deserved reputation for effective results through non- to minimal invasive techniques. His use of organic options such as Platelet Rich Plasma with high speed micro-needling, stem cells and natural supplements provide equally impressive results in anti-aging. Dedicated to patient care and wellness, Dr. Halland explores all traditional and nontraditional options in alleviating pain and regaining function, avoiding surgery when possible, and allowing patients to heal naturally using the body's own growth factors and repair mechanisms. A graduate from the University of Miami’s prestigious Honors Program in Medicine, Dr. Halland earned his medical degree with Honors in Research Distinction. He completed a surgical internship and then residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2006. He further specialized in Interventional Pain Management at Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Fellowship program in New York. He is Double Board Certified, both in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. While he is much in demand for speaking engagements, private consultations from Coast to Coast, he practices primarily out of his own clinic on Park Avenue in New York City.
