About

Trust between the physician and patient forms the baseline for the delivery of the best medical care possible. I was a lifeguard in high school and this started my medical career. I have always enjoyed the study of medicine and Internal Medicine provides the most complete study of all the integrated systems. I was born in Northern California (approximately 200 miles north of San Francisco) in redwood country and hence have a huge love for the outdoors and sports. I was the lead clinical investigator for the military for the "Persian Gulf War Syndrome" and have presentations, and published journal articles related to this. I love being outside, working out in the gym, chasing golf balls around the metroplex, skiing, fly fishing, and reading. I have three older children, two now out of college and gainfully employed. I have a small mutt at home.
