I have ridden at Freewind Farm for over one year and my children have ridden for at least two years. They are new riders and I am returning to riding from a 14-year hiatus. I appreciate Ty's combination of discipline and kindness. She expects the kids to do their jobs and does not accept lazy excuses. She is understanding of their fears but she helps them through them and does not allow them to use their fears as an excuse to not try. She does not overface anyone on a mount that they are not ready for. She has a variety of school horses that are suitable for riders of
