Welcome to the High Peaks Animal Hospital! Nestled in the Adirondacks between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, we are a full-service small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. As an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association, we are dedicated to providing excellence in small animal care. Our hospital is evaluated regularly by AAHA to ensure that we meet or exceed the association’s standards of excellence. AAHA standards are recognized around the world as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with specialty referral practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, surgery suite, full-body and dental x-ray capabilities, modern blood testing equipment, a closely supervised hospitalization area and indoor boarding kennels with a spacious, fenced-in outdoor walking area.
