Tina Lonski is an East Lansing-based writer who focuses on the Great Lake State: Michigan. Three books - A Transplanted Yooper: Mostly True Stories of Michigan's U.P.; Barn Raising: Stories of a Vanishing American Legacy; and The Bootleg Buggy: Stories of My Polish Family recapture her lifelong romance of all things Michigan, especially the Upper Peninsula of her ancestors. She is working on a sequel to Transplanted Yooper, schedued for Spring 2016 publication.
