Our philosophy is a little different than most, not wasting time on "treating the symptoms" but instead treating the cause of the problem. In many cases, patients' problems are not resolved because all factors are not taken into consideration. Dr. Shestakovsky has found through his experience and research at St. Augustine University that there is mounting evidence paralleling low back pain to sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Furthermore, in many cases, patients who experience back pain are suffering from a dysfunction associated with structures or muscles in the anterior aspect of the body.
