When I was a kid I was hit by a car and had a spinal cord injury, Since then I walk with a brace on one leg and a crutch. The shoes they gave me were unbelievably ugly. They also caused some pain. Eventually I got a brace that fit in any shoe. I learned to walk with pain as I had many places to go. Then one day I heard about New Balance...cue angels singing!!! Not only were they good looking but they caused no pain...from day one!!! Now 10 or more years later and I still buy nothing else. I tell everyone with pain that these are the shoes to buy
