We needed new disposal. Called My Plumber from fridge magnet for estimate. Wouldn't give estimate over phone. Had to have technician come to house. He confirmed we needed new disposal. Said exact replacement, Insinkerator Badger 5, would cost $624.07, or upgrade would cost $790.26. Since I had called Home Depot and determined it would cost $99.96 if bought from them, I questioned My Plumber's cost. He said only they don't buy from Home Depot. In the end, with minor discounts, I paid $526.67 for new disposal and installation, or more than
