I took 4 pairs of pants to be hemmed at $12 each. The quality of the work seemed fine when I brought the pants home. The second time I wore one of the pairs of dress pants, the hem unraveled as soon as I got to work in the morning. The owner/employee quoted me $5 to fix the problem, claiming that it was my fault and I must have stepped on the hem with my heel. I know I did not step on the pants with my heel for two reasons: the hem unraveled in the front, and the hem started unraveling from the side seem and not from the middle of the pant bottom.
