I'm afraid that "Rago Neon" has been around longer than 1977. With all due respect - I contacted an old man there on Laurel Ave. in the early 1990's to have some work done on some beer signs. I was refered to "Rago" by the late owner of Holiday Bowl, Ralph Sommer who told me that the huge sign there was made in 1958. I mentioned this to the old man aqnd he had quite an interesting story about the sign. To make a long story short - he said that he hadn't done a sign like that one since and would never do one again. Appearently, not only was the fabrication itself difficult b
