Recently, I celebrated my 40th birthday at a Applebees in Macon, Mo. I wasn't sure that was the place I really wanted to go, but after eating there, I have to say our food was exceptional. I ordered the K.C strip and my husband ordered the 10 oz Sirloin. The steak was cooked to perfection and not stingy in size. The steak dinner is accompanied by a generous and well made salad and a choice of baked potato, chessy mashed potatoes or fries, we did order a side order of their delicious home-made Onion Rings as well.
