Bon Bon Atelier is a gift and fabric store specializing in handmade product as well as hard-to-find modern fabrics. Opened by two sisters in the summer of 2006, the girls’ love of everything design resulted in a swift expansion toward books, ceramics, kitchen-ware, home decor and other accessories. In its first year, Bon Bon Atelier was voted Best Gift Shop in Kansas City by The Pitch. While the girls’ original concept of a store that was both whimsical and fun has been realized, the vision has become finely tuned. Handmade, one-of-a-kind items from local and national artisans have filled the store, alongside amazing fabric, patterns and books that inspire each customer’s creativity.
