I brought my boat in to have an audio system installed. I specifically stated that I wanted the main unit installed under the dashboard for better protection from the elements, and the salesperson agreed. When I came back to pick up my boat, the unit was installed at the top of the gunwale alongside the driver's seat. I asked why my instructions had been ignored, and was told that it was easier to mount the unit in that location, where it would be exposed to spray, rain, etc. Of course, the unit did not last; it was replaced once under warranty, and
