Ford, Gettings, and Kane have been in business for 50 years and are very experienced gemologists. I had an opal ring I could not wear because it had a setting that stuck out and I was always afraid I would crack or break the stone. Also, I had a very nice engagement ring that I wanted to sell. One of the sales personnel, made a great suggestion. She suggested we cut off the band part of the ring and make it a part of a necklace, take the engagement ring, add the stones from a pair of old diamond earrings, and make a new ring with the band part of the opal ring.
