The single worse experience I have ever had with an auto repair shop. The "mechanic" got halfway through working on my car then went on vacation for a week without notifying me. During that week they had multiple break-ins and did not notify me or check to see if my car had been broken into. I got tired of waiting for them to fix it (the car had been in the shop for 12 days now) and they told me that they had pretty much given up on it anyways so I came in to pick it up.
