Shop People is a shared workspace in SE Portland, Oregon. In the makerspace workshop, members have access to a shared wood shop, metal shop, jewelry studio, and pottery studio. The shared workspace includes community tools and work space for artists, makers, and builders of all kinds: woodworkers, metalworkers, jewelry makers, potters, glass artists, artisans, and Portland's creative community. Private studio space, workspace, and storage space is also available for rent. Shop People is a collaborative creative workspace meant to provide the tools, space and inspiration makers need to make. We don't put time constraints on creativity. Members have 24/7 access to the shop. Call Shop People to arrange a tour of the wood shop, ceramic studio, jewelry studio, and modern metal working area.
