Wilkes-Barre Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course located in Bear Creek Township. WBGC enjoys the best of both worlds situated in close proximity to the Wyoming Valley as well as the beginning of the picturesque Pocono Mountains. The golf club was established in 1967 and was designed by prominent golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish. The course is well groomed with a great practice facility. It includes a driving range, chipping and pitching green with a sand trap, and a very large putting green.
