There are a few neighborhood convenience stores but only one grocery store in Townsend. Thats just fine for a town of this size because the management makes sure you have quality products and several choices. I've found products here that I've had to hunt for in bigger stores. The produce is fresh, clean and well displayed. I'm told the meat is terrific (I'm a veggie). The deli has a number of choices if you don't feel like cooking. The employees are friendly, available and helpful. There's never a long line like the superstores in surrounding cities nor do they have b
