It was refreshing to see more restaurants opening in South Austin when Maudie%u2019s opened but the newness has worn off. My wife and I along with a couple of friends went recently on a Friday night for dinner. The place was packed, with us waiting at the bar for nearly an hour after being told only 30 minutes. The drinks were great, thankfully they had a full bar.
