I called Jim Burwell at the urging of my friend. I had no idea what to expect or even if my dog could be helped. My dog was very fearful, timid and did not want to be out of my site. I could not imagine how he would fix that. What I learned was that I needed to be a good leader or "dog parent" to my dog and help him understand that I had everything under control and that he didn't need to take charge.
