Mexico Lindo has had a successful history "down the hill" but is struggling to fit into a mountain village that has had a long history of Alpine and Western themed dining. The large Mexican flags flying directly across from the Veterans Memorial in town show a complete lack of sensitivity to long time residents of Wrightwood. I don't eat there just because they are too "in your face" about their cultural heritage which is a forced transplantation into a Eurocentric/American skiing, hiking, motorcycle riding,culture.
