My precious yellow lab underwent surgery by Dr. Trudy Smith for a bowel obstruction and following the surgery, Dr. Smith and her vet asst attempted to place a urinary catheter and perforated the prostate gland and urethra. Xray stated "Rupture of the lower urinary system". Smith failed to treat the condition and this led to 2 liters of urine escaping into the abdomen causing "toxic peritonitis".
