I bought a used crossover from the owner and his son. Within a week, this car started to have major issues. I called the elder owner and told him he needed to fix or give me back my $30k I had paid. He oddly didn't want me to take the car to my own mechanic (said he didn't want to pay the bill) but would have his mechanic look it over. Long story short, they said nothing was wrong, but tried to make me pay $500 for his mechanic's bill!!!!!! I ended up having my mechanic look it ALL over and SURPRISE: THE POWER STEERING IS SHOT,
