This dealer came into our home to look at estate china pieces, solver and knick knacks, some from the early 1800's and treated them with very little care, he would pick something up, briefly look through his hoop at it and when putting it back down smack it into another piece. He may not have found any monetary value in a piece, but he should have at least been careful enough not to break or chip something.
